Who Says LIfe is Perfect?!

eto ang trip sabay sabay.. eto ang trip bawal sablay!

Yessssss! Congratulations! I am yet again at the verge of screaming my lungs out... Why have I been so addicted with complications?

I haven't been feeling well writing lately, thus, my work is affected. I'm not the best but guess what!? I do put my heart out in everything I write. Lately, I haven't been catching up with simply spinning articles to make an article... I try most of the time to learn what I'm talking about. Sadly, it had affected my performance. And to think I still don't know how to play the freaking game. Haha! Oh well.. that's what I get for being too compassionate.

Or maybe there still lies some hidden fault there.. Still.. I know my pride at writing something good ruined my recent job. Why in all times did I choose this time to be different!?

Oh well... I'm trying to burst it all out here just because I have no one to talk to lately. I have been wanting to feel appreciated and this is what I get: the consequences of my weakness. HAHA!

So emo.. but then again... at least I get to update my blog... personally after so many absence.

However, it makes no difference since I'm still trying to be careful with what I write. Not that I care whether or not there are still people reading my notes... It does go with my signature in emails. Maybe I should try not to advertise my blog anymore.

Me, me, me... what have I done this time?!

Awwwww... I hate it when things go out of hand just because I'm trying to be exaggeratedly me.

Oh well... I think I'm making a lot of people happy with my falls.

I wanted to curse myself... what I did... but I know it'll only add more harm on my profile... might as well accept the fact that I wasn't that good.

At least in performance. My articles were rated well, I know that... it's the quantity that I had problems with. Plus the headache I get most of the time.

I probably need a more suitable topic.

Let me think about it...

Oh... I feel so low...

I need a new means of output...

I miss the important people that inspire me.

Wish me luck.

Youth Camp

This coming weekend, one of the organizations that I’m involved in will have a youth camp for secondary level students. So far as camping is concerned, one of the top things to bring are tents, sleeping bags, and of course packed food supplies and clothes.

Camping and Hiking usually goes together, but for this activity, we chose to hold it close to the beach. So there'd be no hiking involved. However, fun and games, including environmental awareness activities are part of the program. That's something to look forward for.

Stuffs that are needed for the outdoor plan can easily be availed online. I just hope it'd be sent in time for the activity. The program is mostly about taking care and being part of protecting our Mother Earth. This will highlight different ways on how you'll be able to save nature, energy, and a whole lot more ideas that will balance the climate change happening on our planet. This is what our world needs. Will post updates about this activity soon. For now, let's enjoy preparing for the camp first.

Note: Visit Travel and Outdoor Fun page to learn more and gain ideas about outdoor preparation and activity suggestions, etc.

Fashion Upgrade

A couple of things girls are often conscious about are their looks. No matter what they say about "its all in the inside" or "what's within" and similar ideas, every one of us wants to look hip, pretty and presentable most of the time.

My new hobby or at least the lifestyle I’m planning to go after seems to have one major requirement: a fashion upgrade! I’ve always loved dressing up, well now I finally have a reason to do so. Yey me!

Now, though I know my own taste in clothes, and how weird I’d want to look like, in a nice looking way of course… I’d still need to check out style resources for women sites to help me choose the right type of dress matches for me. Women’s fashion trends are changing all the time yet always and forever, there will be something to match every girl there is.

Figure-flattering clothes for women tips are widely available so you’ll never go wrong. I sure will check this out before choosing mine. Some of the closest dress codes that I'd go for would look something like the images I included in this entry. How about you?

An Updated Version of Me... SOON.

my bestfriend was right... i could relate to this very well. i didn't know why i had to let things bother me... i don't wanna end up blaming myself. i will be strong... i will be strong enough to prove, it wasn't my fault. i'm tired being blamed. i'm done giving in to what other people say or think of me... i just wanna be happy. to do that, i have to start believing, that i'm right... and i'm doing well. i don't need to stay with people who thinks i'm not all that... because of who i am, i am different.

honestly, that's one of my dream right now, to do what Anne Curtis did at a scene in "The Wedding": to say, "I am different now..." and walk away. =)

to all the fighter girls out there, this is dedicated to you:

An Updated Version of Me
by: KC Concepcion

I know I can be so awkward at times
I can be insecure
You can call me naive, you can say I'm a child
You can say I'm so immature
For me to say that I love you now
But you'll see I will prove somehow
I can be so much more

Someday there's gonna be
An updated version of me
And somehow you're gonna see
An udpated version of me

And there would be no reasons then
To tell me that I'm just a friend
I'll be a much better person, you'll see
An updated version of me

Maybe I should grow a much nicer nose
A much prettier set of eyes
Maybe I should wear more colorful clothes
If it'd help you to realize
I've never been this in love before
Never wanted to change at all
Now I'm willing to try...

Someday there's gonna be
An updated version of me
And somehow you're gonna see
An updated version of me
And there would be no reasons then
To tell me that I'm just a friend
I'll be a much better person, you'll see
An updated version of me...

Maybe then you'd realize
Or maybe you won't
If and when that happens
I'd still be the lucky one...

'Coz someday there's gonna be
An updated version of me
And somehow you're gonna see
And updated version of me
And someday you would realize
You've made awful compromise
And you'd wished that you had wath you missed
'Coz you'd miss a much better person
An updated version of me
You will see...

No Fairytale, I Want To Forget

my love life's latest theme song...

Taylor Swift

Say you're sorry, that face of an angel
Comes out just when you need it to
As I paced back and forth all this time
Cause I honestly believed in you

Holding on, the days drag on
Stupid girl, I should have known
I should have known

I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale
I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet
Lead her up the stairwell

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down
Now it's too late for you and your white horse, to come around

Baby I was naive, got lost in your eyes
And never really had a chance
I had so many dreams about you and me
Happy endings, now I know

I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale
I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet
Lead her up the stairwell

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down
Now it's too late for you and your white horse, to come around

And there you are on your knees
Begging for forgiveness, begging for me
Just like I always wanted but I'm so sorry

Cause I'm not your princess, this ain't a fairytale
I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well
This is a big world, that was a small town
There in my rearview mirror disappearing now

And its too late for you and your white horse
Now its too late for you and your white horse, to catch me now

Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa
Try and catch me now
Oh, it's too late to catch me now

Honestly, I just wanna forget... forget that I ever loved. Right now all I wanted is to be someone's priority. Not another schedule. A squeezed-in moment whenever they have time. I'm tired needing to prove myself. I'm done hoping to be someone appreciated without too much effort. Maybe, maybe it's time I give myself a chance to be loved without question. Without too much expectations. Yeah.. I'm just through.

Every night I pray for my love to fade already... I'm giving it back to Him. I really just want to move on and not dream anymore. Please... I don't wanna hurt anymore.

The Introduction of a New Stage

keeping my hopes up on my journey ahead... hopefully, this is it... thanks for dedicating this... =)

by: Rico Blanco

Iniwan ka na ng eroplano
Ok lang baby
Wag kang magbago
Dito ka lang
Sa aking piling

Kukupkupin nalang kita
Sorry wala ka nang magagawa
Mahalin mo nalang ako
Ng sobra sobra
Para patas naman tayo

Sasalubungin natin ang kinabukasan
Ng walang takot at walang pangamba
Tadhana'y merong trip na makapangyarihan
Kung ayaw may dahilan
Kung gusto palaging merong paraan

Pinaiyak ka ng manghuhula
Hindi na raw tayo magkasamang tatanda
Buti nalang
Merong langit na nagtatanggol sa
Pag ibig na pursigido't matyaga

Long as we stand as one
Ano man ang ating makabangga
Nothing will ever break us
Wala talaga
As in wala

Hahalikan nalang natin ang kinabukasan
Ng buong loob at yayakapin pa
Tadhana'y medyo overrated kung minsan
Kung ayaw may dahilan
Kung gusto palaging merong paraan

Gumawa nalang tayo ng paraan
Gumawa nalang tayo ng... (baby)
Gumawa nalang tayo ng paraan

The recent events in my life posted new realizations. Yes guys, I'm still alive though I can't say the same about this blog. Oh well...

I would've loved to tell you all about what I've been through and still struggling about but I don't wanna ruin the little plans that I'm willing to take part in, in the coming days. The theme "moving on" made quite an impact. I don't wanna have any regrets. The only consolation I have is the fact that this wasn't my idea. So, maybe its about time I knock my head with the truth that maybe, some dreams are really meant to stay as dreams. So much to say, but let's keep it a surprise, shall we?

Hope.. I'm just glad I have a bit of it, and somehow, it feels like fate is keeping up with me... maybe this is how everything should be... just maybe... maybe things will work out well in time...

*crosses fingers* MAYBE... =)

If I Were That Strong - Stepping to My Emo Side

the sea of uncertainty flooded the thoughts of dissatisfaction.

from that everything's a messy situation. what should have been the start of a new beginning came with a swift slap of reality.

we all suffer from something never to be compared with each other. because the truth is.. we are what we are.

what you should rely on is the idea of being accepted for that.

in this life we must learn how to swim. not everyone who holds on, is there to help us. rather... they may only be there to pull us under the water.

but no matter how deep you get...

let that tiny light of what's up above be out of your sight... because hope, can be as little as that...

but if you try to fight and swim back up,

you'll realize it's a wide horizon.

there's always another try.

OT: Delayed SEMCon Bicol Post

Although I wasn’t really a part of the SEMCON Bicol event, I’m glad I dropped by. Excited to finally meet Mam Janette Toral who had long been a virtual friend, constantly communicating from twitter, to plurk, PBS mailing list, and online event sponsorships, I just had to be present during her talk in AUL. There I got acquainted with previous US Autoparts’ co-worker Marianne, whom almost pushed me to an impromptu talk about copywriting. Good thing we have other plans then (which is to accompany the guests to a tour around Legazpi), and when I said accompany, I really meant we were really just there for the ride. (LOL)

I arrived in AUL halfway Mam Janette’s speak. She talked most specifically about on-page Search Engine Marketing and Optimization, followed by Sir Gary Viray’s off page version focusing on Link building and the useful tools that goes with it. I really had a lot of fun messing around with Mr. Viray (with the coat and all), that I just knew I had been giggling almost the whole time I was with them, including his talk. Which I believe is a classic talk of what could have been informative gone gross because of his sample www.pataynakuko.com website. Believe me I really thought it was catchy. Sad to say though the mere mention of Money Making Blogs caught his audience attention more than our idea of dead nails. Tsk… tsk… tsk…

We all left (along with another speaker, Hans A. Koch, which I find very intimidating to introduce thinking I might have misheard the Hancock similarity) the rest of the convention hanging with the thought of which is King, content or links? This debate was never settled. At dinner, this dispute grew to a love or money for work conversation.

We all agreed it was more for money… or maybe it was just me? Nah… I’m sure we all said Money in the end.

In all seriousness though, the conference really is something worth knowing. With the growing need for SEO’s which is now being considered the next big thing after call centers, awareness about the topic is very much significant.

I forgot to open the question about which stuff about our meet up is non-bloggable? So I’m best to shut up now. Hmm…

My congratulations to the organizers of the SEMCon Bicol, especially to sir Alvin Perez, and the staff of Aquinas University, along with the rest of the speakers!!!!

Hopefully we’ll experience more of these events in the coming months or so. I’m very much looking forward the mentioned plans.

Till next time!

Note: Photos grabbed from Digitalfilipino.com. And Pataynakuko.com doesn't exist.

Onion Emoticon Plurk Widget

If you can remember, I gave an easy to follow instruction before on Installing Onion Emoticons For Blogger. Now, I am going to teach you how you can install the same set of Onion Emoticons (plus a few extra smileys) on the popular socializing network site: PLURK.
Because I am quite frustrated and impatient at wanting to reach Plurk Nirvana or something so I can have access on the extra smileys offered within the Plurk's site, I went surfing around looking for silly smileys to add on my Plurks. Most plurkers use the share as a photo/link option to add silly smileys to their plurks. I didn't want that much hassle. It was by sheer luck that I came across this site and found a javascript where you can install a Plurk widget within your Plurk homepage carrying the Onion Emoticons and other silly smileys you can easily add as if it's a part of the extra smileys of Plurk.
(in this image: You'll see the widget as an extra movable box. You can move it wherever position you wish. Simply click on the desired smiley and the link will automatically be added on your plurk. You can choose to close it by clicking on the [x] button at the top right corner of the box. Reopen the movable onion box widget by clicking on the Onion Emoticon character right under the smiley button.)
Now How do you install these Onion Emoticon Plurk Widget?
Follow the instructions below:
1. You need to have Firefox as your browser. (I hope everyone who reads this already uses Mozilla Firefox. If not, kindly download it.)
2. When you already have the Firefox up, download the Greasemonkey extension. We used this before when we installed the emoticons for blogger. (Note: You will have to restart the Firefox window after installing the Greasemonkey.) After restarting your Firefox window, you should be able to see a monkey’s face somewhere at the bottom of the window. The monkey should be smiling (meaning the extension is activated), if the color of the monkey is gray and sad, click it to enable it.
3. After that click here Plurk Silly Onion Emoticon Widget and press install. (Restart Plurk...) and that's it.
4. Please Don’t forget to give me a link back!
When you’re done, you will now see the box filled with the Onion Emoticons and Smileys that you can use freely in all your plurks.
That’s it! Enjoy the silly onion emoticons!:ahaha:

Thanking JiaYun for the Javascript...

Librans Unite!

*laughing at the title*

Honestly I'm a bit amazed...

Just recently I met a group that I just realized to be a pool of Libran's. It intimidates me, yet intrigues me at the same time to know them better. Makes a good case study. I've always loved analyzing people based on their zodiacs. However, this is a first to me. Being a Libran myself, it feels scary having to compare myself with these new found friends. I wonder... I simply wonder.

Oh well... I'll keep you updated with the progress.

New year, new challenges to face! And what better way to meet and enjoy the start of the year than to challenge yourself, literally. Yup, I had quite a lot of fun trying out the newest addition in Legazpi's tourist attraction sites, the Zipline (ZIPZFACTOR) located at the Ligñon Hill, Legazpi City. I've seen it previewed on the news some weeks ago but didn't really know that it was operational until a friend confirmed it. The occasional rain during the holidays suspended our plan to visit a couple of times already. However, with back to school and work scheds coming so close, we just had no choice but to go and do it rain or shine.
It was definitely a sight. Seeing the height, with the heavy wind, will almost make you doubt whether you could reach the end of the zipline or be flown back to the start. But hell, you wouldn't know unless you try, right? So we got ourselves listed and the zipline peeps help us gear up. A few more preparations, and some two way radio confirmations for a clear go and we're up to do the slide for life fun experience we've been looking forward for.

I'm very proud of my little sister. I didn't expect her to be so eager. Regardless of the gloomy weather, we were all just so excited to try this activity out. Here are some pics I'd like to share:

My family:

We're actually looking forward the rest of the activities coming soon, especially Rapelling. Weeeeeh! So? Dare to try?:scream:

Lights On

Because the house is pretty much crowded the holiday times, I was required to sleep in my brother's room. One thing I noticed is that his room definitely need desk lamps or something to help illuminate the place. I came across this lamps website and saw quite a lot of lights to choose from. Everything you need is actually there, and they have a product search tool that makes searching for specific torchieres very easy.

With all the options and images shown in that site, I realized I wanted to buy more lights not only for my brother's rooms but for some rooms around the house as well. Say for example lamps and lamp shades that would look great on my parent's bedroom side table. Probably a ceiling fan too for the sala and somewhere in the dining area.

Hmm... that makes me think about redecorating the entire household. But that would also mean a lot of work and quite a heavy expense I might add. Maybe I should stick with buying my brother just the table lamp that he needs first and get to save for the rest of the items that I feel like getting. Yeah, that would be a great idea. At least I have something to look forward to.

Holiday Shopping

Finally, the holiday rush is almost at its end. I must admit shopping in malls during the Christmas season is exhausting. It would have been simple if the gifts were bought online. I really wonder why I didn't thought of that. Just like buying Men's Clothes through one of the online stores that offers a huge inventory of items. Definitely, given the option, I bet you'd agree with me that by choosing gifts through click, add to cart, and go steps makes shopping a lot more easier than going with all the hassle and bustle Christmas shopping spree.

Most of what I bought for my brothers were t-shirts. They were the easiest items I could think of for men. However, I would really want to give my younger brother new belts but I had a hard time finding the right design for him, so yeah... I ended up giving him another shirt for this year. My friend gave the boys in our hangout place matching hats. Now that's really quite cool.

Next year I'm making sure I'll visit some of the sites online so I'll know what and where to get my gifts for my relatives and friends ahead of the holiday rush. That will make shopping a lot more fun, and a whole lot easier for everyone.

The lucky coins, charms and chimes are set and fixed on every window and door. We're ready to pound pots and pans for noise to ward off evil and bad lucks. It's time to face a new phase in our lives. Wishing all of you the best of luck, and a prosperous new year!
