Onion Emoticon Plurk Widget

If you can remember, I gave an easy to follow instruction before on Installing Onion Emoticons For Blogger. Now, I am going to teach you how you can install the same set of Onion Emoticons (plus a few extra smileys) on the popular socializing network site: PLURK.
Because I am quite frustrated and impatient at wanting to reach Plurk Nirvana or something so I can have access on the extra smileys offered within the Plurk's site, I went surfing around looking for silly smileys to add on my Plurks. Most plurkers use the share as a photo/link option to add silly smileys to their plurks. I didn't want that much hassle. It was by sheer luck that I came across this site and found a javascript where you can install a Plurk widget within your Plurk homepage carrying the Onion Emoticons and other silly smileys you can easily add as if it's a part of the extra smileys of Plurk.
(in this image: You'll see the widget as an extra movable box. You can move it wherever position you wish. Simply click on the desired smiley and the link will automatically be added on your plurk. You can choose to close it by clicking on the [x] button at the top right corner of the box. Reopen the movable onion box widget by clicking on the Onion Emoticon character right under the smiley button.)
Now How do you install these Onion Emoticon Plurk Widget?
Follow the instructions below:
1. You need to have Firefox as your browser. (I hope everyone who reads this already uses Mozilla Firefox. If not, kindly download it.)
2. When you already have the Firefox up, download the Greasemonkey extension. We used this before when we installed the emoticons for blogger. (Note: You will have to restart the Firefox window after installing the Greasemonkey.) After restarting your Firefox window, you should be able to see a monkey’s face somewhere at the bottom of the window. The monkey should be smiling (meaning the extension is activated), if the color of the monkey is gray and sad, click it to enable it.
3. After that click here Plurk Silly Onion Emoticon Widget and press install. (Restart Plurk...) and that's it.
4. Please Don’t forget to give me a link back!
When you’re done, you will now see the box filled with the Onion Emoticons and Smileys that you can use freely in all your plurks.
That’s it! Enjoy the silly onion emoticons!:ahaha:

Thanking JiaYun for the Javascript...

Librans Unite!

*laughing at the title*

Honestly I'm a bit amazed...

Just recently I met a group that I just realized to be a pool of Libran's. It intimidates me, yet intrigues me at the same time to know them better. Makes a good case study. I've always loved analyzing people based on their zodiacs. However, this is a first to me. Being a Libran myself, it feels scary having to compare myself with these new found friends. I wonder... I simply wonder.

Oh well... I'll keep you updated with the progress.

ZIP IT, or SCREAM!

New year, new challenges to face! And what better way to meet and enjoy the start of the year than to challenge yourself, literally. Yup, I had quite a lot of fun trying out the newest addition in Legazpi's tourist attraction sites, the Zipline (ZIPZFACTOR) located at the Ligñon Hill, Legazpi City. I've seen it previewed on the news some weeks ago but didn't really know that it was operational until a friend confirmed it. The occasional rain during the holidays suspended our plan to visit a couple of times already. However, with back to school and work scheds coming so close, we just had no choice but to go and do it rain or shine.
It was definitely a sight. Seeing the height, with the heavy wind, will almost make you doubt whether you could reach the end of the zipline or be flown back to the start. But hell, you wouldn't know unless you try, right? So we got ourselves listed and the zipline peeps help us gear up. A few more preparations, and some two way radio confirmations for a clear go and we're up to do the slide for life fun experience we've been looking forward for.

I'm very proud of my little sister. I didn't expect her to be so eager. Regardless of the gloomy weather, we were all just so excited to try this activity out. Here are some pics I'd like to share:

We're actually looking forward the rest of the activities coming soon, especially Rapelling. Weeeeeh! So? Dare to try?:scream:

Lights On

Because the house is pretty much crowded the holiday times, I was required to sleep in my brother's room. One thing I noticed is that his room definitely need desk lamps or something to help illuminate the place. I came across this lamps website and saw quite a lot of lights to choose from. Everything you need is actually there, and they have a product search tool that makes searching for specific torchieres very easy.

With all the options and images shown in that site, I realized I wanted to buy more lights not only for my brother's rooms but for some rooms around the house as well. Say for example lamps and lamp shades that would look great on my parent's bedroom side table. Probably a ceiling fan too for the sala and somewhere in the dining area.

Hmm... that makes me think about redecorating the entire household. But that would also mean a lot of work and quite a heavy expense I might add. Maybe I should stick with buying my brother just the table lamp that he needs first and get to save for the rest of the items that I feel like getting. Yeah, that would be a great idea. At least I have something to look forward to.

Cheers!

Holiday Shopping

Finally, the holiday rush is almost at its end. I must admit shopping in malls during the Christmas season is exhausting. It would have been simple if the gifts were bought online. I really wonder why I didn't thought of that. Just like buying Men's Clothes through one of the online stores that offers a huge inventory of items. Definitely, given the option, I bet you'd agree with me that by choosing gifts through click, add to cart, and go steps makes shopping a lot more easier than going with all the hassle and bustle Christmas shopping spree.

Most of what I bought for my brothers were t-shirts. They were the easiest items I could think of for men. However, I would really want to give my younger brother new belts but I had a hard time finding the right design for him, so yeah... I ended up giving him another shirt for this year. My friend gave the boys in our hangout place matching hats. Now that's really quite cool.

Next year I'm making sure I'll visit some of the sites online so I'll know what and where to get my gifts for my relatives and friends ahead of the holiday rush. That will make shopping a lot more fun, and a whole lot easier for everyone.
